v1.14.0

Kordon 1.14.0

This release is all about making your data richer and your workflows smoother. Custom fields are now a first-class part of the platform β€” more types, better filtering, and deeper integration throughout. On top of that, onboarding, navigation, and a handful of day-to-day papercuts have been polished up.

What's New

Expanded Custom Fields

Custom fields now support 11 field types across all objects in Kordon: Short text, Long text, Number, Yes/No, Date, Single select, Multi select, Link, Percentage, Currency, and File upload. Each field type comes with useful customisation options β€” where it is visible, whether it is required, default values, ordering, and validation.

Customizable List Filters and Layouts

List pages now support configurable filter layouts, so you can tune how you review different record types. Especially useful now that custom fields can carry so much more structured data.

Welcome Emails for New Users

When an administrator creates a new human user, they will now see a success confirmation, and the new user will automatically receive a welcome email. No more manual onboarding steps needed.

Welcome emails are sent automatically β€” no configuration required.

Quality of Life

  • Stronger Overview and Navigation

The overview dashboard now includes a Business Processes section. The requirements covered numbers are now clickable, taking you directly to the relevant list.

  • Safer and Faster List Filtering

Custom-field data now uses more consistent storage and targeted indexing, so filtering stays snappy even as field volume grows.

  • Prefill Title in Connect Modal

When creating a new item from the Connect (Attach) modal, the title field is pre-filled with the current search term so you do not have to retype it.

Fixed

  • Bulk delete now works consistently across all list views, not just some of them.
  • Long titles and tags in overview tables now truncate cleanly instead of clipping awkwardly.
  • Assignment notifications are now suppressed when the assigner and assignee are the same person.
  • Vendor fuzzy search now uses a stricter similarity threshold and skips fuzzy matching for short queries, reducing loosely related results.
  • Sidebar content no longer gets cut off horizontally on screens where the layout was clipping.
  • OAuth and magic-link flows now return a distinct deactivated status. The login page shows an Account Deactivated message instead of a spinner or a misleading access error.
